We loved our stay at Donnybrooks cottage. Had everything we needed for our short stay. Positive: Cleanliness, linen and great towels, had everything we needed for our short stay. We also liked the location. Negative: Nothing

Positive: Delightful renovated stone cottage in a pretty cottage garden, right next to the Clare Valley Riesling Trail. The cottage has 3 comfortable bedrooms, with large modern kitchen and bathroom, and has absolutely everything you could possibly need for an extended stay including bottle of Riesling made just down the road and items for a continental breakfast. We were amazed at the effort the hosts have gone to, to make it feel like a relaxing & cosy home away from home. Such an attractive location with shady trees all around the two cottages in spacious grounds with several alfresco areas and bbq and lots of outdoor furniture to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. A short drive to Clare central and lots of shops and eateries and of course close to loads of wineries. We drove to Burra an easy 40 minutes away then to Mintaro and the historic Martindale Hall stunning mansion. A very pleasant day out exploring this historic part of SA. So lots to see and do in this beautiful and historic area. Thanks to our host Luke who kept in touch to ensure our stay was a great one.. which it was! We highly recommend a stay at Donnybrook Cottages when next you visit the Clare Valley.

Can't wait to go.back.. Positive: A Beautifully appointed cottage, lots of space and we each had our own room.. Some lovely treats were left for us, much appreciated. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is lovely..

Fabulous location in a beautifully set up old cottage. Positive: very well set up accommodation, from beds & bathroom, to kitchen, location, heating (nights were cold but heating was great) and beautiful sunny position during the day. Great views from the windows. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious. Peaceful. Relaxing. Liked it all. Negative: nothing.

Positive: Loved the location - perfectly central and could walk into Clare plus hire bikes a stone's throw down the road.
